Facial Redness Occurs With Roacea
Facial redness or flushing is one of the earliest symptoms of rosacea. Facial redness can best be described as a reddening of the face due to embarrassment, anger, heat or stress. It may also appear as a constant redness or blotchy patches of red on the facial area similar to a sunburn or rash. The redness is centrally located on the cheeks, chin, neck, forehead or even upper chest. As the flushing progresses over time one may develop small broken blood vessels located just below the surface of the skin known as spider veins. This a permanent redness in the facial area with a tendency to flush and blush more readily.
